about

This self-titled debut album from Tin Forest is an eclectic collection of songs recorded and produced in Melbourne, Australia. Combining elements of traditional songwriting with modern instrumentation, such as drum-machines, sequencers, synths and samplers, this DIY album attempts to capture the anxieties and hopes of these challenging and uncertain times. Genre defiant, the album skips between melancholic folk, melodic pop, 90's rock, and electronic elements in a lo-fi musical journey. The vein of melancholy that runs through the album is interwoven with harmonic silver linings and moments of nihilistic celebration.
